A Proven Leader for District 15 B

I Was Born in Idaho, and I am Dedicated to Idaho and Idahoans.  

I am a highly motivated person who is committed to serve the Constituents of District 15. I have served within our community for the past 20 years. I was born and raised in Idaho, and I understand Idaho values. My roots in politics are deeply rooted as I attended city council meetings as a little girl, volunteered on campaign trails before I could drive, became an Idaho Senate page in high school and am now a precinct committee woman.

In my current role as an elected precinct committeewoman, I have worked with legislators on issues important to Idahoans. I serve on the central committee for Ada County and when asked to do something, I answer the call and take on new tasks. I take my “PC” role seriously, attend meetings well prepared, am willing to listen and always seek to provide a voice of reason. I am willing to listen to others’ beliefs and understand their rationale. 

I Believe In Serving and Understand the Impact of Policy Decisions and Regulations.  

I am an advanced practice nurse in Boise. As a nurse, I have spent years advocating for patients. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), I understand how policy and regulation directly impacts patients and the health care providers caring for these patients. I am the Idaho President for the American Nurses Association which gives me the pleasure of serving nurses across this magnificent state. As the Idaho President, I work hard to advocate for Idaho nurses at the national level, ensuring that Idaho has a voice.

I am A Supporter of Children’s and Veteran’s Causes . 

Outside of my professional roles, I am the chair for Ryan’s Cases for Smiles, a charity that provides children in hospitals with kid friendly pillowcases while they are ill. I also independently raise money for headstones for children.  In addition, I partner with the local veteran’s hospital and sponsor veteran’s families during their time of need. When there is a need in the community, I am honored and privileged that many reach out to me as a community resource. 

I am Family First!  

I have been very happily married to my beloved husband Patrick 11 years and we are the proud parents of two children. I have enjoyed coaching football, being a cub scout leader and volunteering in my children’s school. 

I Love to Lead on Issues Important to Idahoans.  

I have a passion to lead. I am not afraid to take the helm and lend my time, knowledge, and talent to those causes and people in which I believe in. 

I believe in lowering taxes, ensuring the future of schools, impacting the education of our children, and having a voice in healthcare initiatives. 

These issues are just of the few issues that I will champion given the honor to represent you in District 15 with a seat in the Idaho House and therefor I am humbly asking for your support. Thank you.
